Senior Project

For my senior project, I chose to do a lyric video because of a kinetic typography video that I made prior. I enjoyed the process and wanted to create something similar to that. The song I chose was ‘Dancing on a Dream’ by Majid Jordan (ft. Swae lee) because it’s fun and upbeat.
Something I had to consider when choosing this project was its commercial value, and a lyric video has commercial value because it helps to promote the artist’s music and engages listeners with the song. Many musicians also release lyric videos for their songs instead of (or along with) a music video and I felt like my idea would align well with that.
